I acquired an old Whitesnake VHS video while thrifting one day. I always throw it on and torture my guy when we are drinking. Now he can see them in full live glory!

I've had a strange fascination with bodysuits lately. So imagine my surprise when I found the mother of all bodysuits. This baby not only has crossing straps, it has a pointed cutout bust! Only drawback is the slightly too large built in cup. Oh well, It has a Azzedine Alaia vibe I can't wait to play around with. I found it the same day as this intriguing long red blazer and acid wash zipper skirt( it zips from top to bottom on both sides!!!). I'm still not sure if I need to take the shoulder pads out, What do you think? I almost like them....

Finding the perfect trench coat is like finding the perfect red lipstick. You come close but never quite what you were wanting. I came close recently with this adorable mini trench. I'm not sure what era it's from, If it's even vintage. All I know is I love the shortness and fit. The collar is wide and the pockets are zippered! It's perfect for this schizophrenic weather we've been having lately.

I must have some powerful visualization techniques since I basically found all my desired winter garb this weekend...I found these incredible triple strap buckle zipper Japanese shoes and hooded zipper over coat! Shield me from the cold...

The hooded cloak has dominated my mind all winter. A secret dark void to shield from the harsh cold. I've been dreaming about the druid hood shape in particular. I first saw it in some drawings by Goya and thought what a wonderfully creepy look. Daniel Palillo and Olmar and Mirta are the closet things to what I want. Unfortunately I was outbid on the Olmar and Mirta. I have no idea were to find their garments other than what they do for Rick Owens. So how happy was I to find this amazing plaid mohair wool cape! Todays outfit consists of a beige hooded tunic I found yesterday. I love hooded apparel for winter! I layered it with this thin knit nude top. It has an amazing cut that drops down in two peaks. On another note this is my favorite leather jacket of the moment. It's so buttery soft, fits perfect and has all the right cuts. Inspiration comes from Rick Owens.

Meet Goliath...

That's what I named the new edition to my wardrobe. I have a huge weakness for wood/metal accessories. So when I saw the Stella McCartney fall/winter 08 collection I was enraptured. I seriously stalked these beauties everyday until they were somewhat feasible. Even then I waited for some miracle coupon to pop up and then a 20% off one arrived in my email. I new they were destined to be mine! I haven't bought brand new shoes in ages. I find amazing pairs for less then 10 dollars. So what prompted me to dish out such huge cash on these? Well I really fell in love with the design. I mean wood, metal on a sleek ankle boot wedge!!!

It kind of has a Ayami Kojima Castlevania/Amano Vampire Hunter D feel that I love.

It's not such a mainstream design that lower end brands will copy. In the end it just fits my style :)
